Being Bodhisattva
Sunday 4 August 2024 2pm – 5pm
You can attend in person at either the Wellington or Auckland Buddhist Centres or a venue in Thames (to be confirmed) or via Zoom. The workshop will include break out groups and discussion following the talk from Purna and then a brief Sudarshanaloka AGM. All welcome.
When Sangharakshita received the Bodhisattva ordination from his teacher Dhardo Rimpoche in 1962 it was the fulfilment of his being “thrilled, uplifted, exhilarated and inspired” by the Bodhisattva ideal.
The creation of the Triratna Order and Movement emerged from that inspiration, and Sudarshanaloka, ‘a realm of beautiful vision for the awakening of the Bodhi Heart’ is one manifestation of that Order’s activity.
Join Purna and the Sudarshanaloka team, for this uplifting workshop that connects Sangharakshita’s vision, Dhardo Rimpoche and the stupa at the heart of the Sudarshanaloka project.
