Life with Full Attention

Life with Full Attention

We have just been through one of the most extraordinary times in the world’s history.

This course is based on the book  “Life With Full Attention – a practical course in mindfulness”. The book is the resource workbook for the course, so each participant will need to purchase a copy in advance, either:

  • as paperback from the Centre for $33 – a good option as you can write in it
  • as e-book from Kobo  for $12.64
  • The cost of the book is additional to the course fee.

Reading the book as you go through the course which help you get the most out of the course.

The course is led by two experienced mindfulness practitioners, Saccattha and Suryagita.

Suryagita is an Alexander Technique teacher, psychotherapist, and experienced meditation teacher, who brings skills in integrating body, emotions and thought, and living life to the full.

Saccattha has recently returned from a retreat centre in the mountains of Spain where she lived in perfect conditions to practise the techniques. She has worked as a journalist and as a legal adviser.

For a brief intro to the course, watch this great video from Maitreyabandhu, the author of the book.

At the end of the course (4-6 September) is an optional residential weekend retreat in the tranquil countryside near Otaki to further practise the Buddha’s teaching on mindfulness through meditation and exploring the Satipatthana Sutta
