Wellington Young Buddhists Urban Day Retreat
Saturday 7 March 10:30am – 4:30pm
The benefits of positive emotions are well established, not just in Buddhism but researchers and scientists have found they lead to healthier and happier people. It may seem like emotions can't be changed, but cultivating positive emotions, such as kindness, confidence, and contentment, is as possible as learning any skill.
This will be an interactive session where you'll come away with tools such as:
· Gratitude practices
· Loving kindness practice
· Unblocking negative emotions
We look forward to seeing you!
All welcome - wear warm loose fitting clothing. Please bring vegetarian finger food for a shared lunch.
Suggested donation: $40 ($25 low income)
